RMEMA Meter School Proficiency Exam

The RMEMA Meter School Proficiency Exam is designed for individuals who have completed and mastered the content in the Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Tracks. This open-book exam tests your understanding of the full curriculum, with the Electric Meterman’s Handbook recommended as a key resource.

We strongly suggest completing one track per year in order — Basic, Intermediate, then Advanced — before attempting the exam. Each track builds on the previous year’s material, and all exam questions are drawn from concepts taught across all three.

What to Bring:

A calculator

Resource materials such as past course notes, the Handbook for Electricity MeteringUgly’s Reference Book, and the All in One Book

Scoring & Certification:

You’ll receive your Pass/Not Pass results by email. A score of 70% or higher earns you a Certification of Completion from RMEMA Meter School.
